How can artists and tour managers find the information they need to build more viable touring routes across Australia? This presentation introduces the Australian Music Touring Network, a free online platform bringing Australia’s original live music venues together in one living, map-based directory. 

The Network provides practical venue information including capacity, technical specifications, accessibility, booking contacts, preferred genres, performance schedules and local knowledge. The session will explore how a shared national map can help artists, managers, venues and touring partners identify opportunities, plan smarter routes and strengthen connections between metropolitan, regional and remote communities. By providing equity of access to information, helping to connect the right artist to the right venue, the Australian Music Touring Network strengthens the connections that underpin successful touring and supports a more visible, accessible and sustainable live music sector.
