Join Australia’s music leaders in Byron Bay this July to talk about the future of music in regional and remote communities.

The second Regional & Remote Music Summit will take place in Byron Bay from 23 – 25 July 2025.

Our vast regional and remote areas, home to seven million people (28% of the population), are integral to shaping the nation’s music industry. ‘Revive’, the national cultural policy, recognises the value of regional music and aspires to create ‘a place for every story and a story for every place’.

The Regional & Remote Music Summit was created to bring music experts, artists, policymakers, academics and community leaders together to create a new narrative for regional music-making – one that amplifies, connects and strengthens our entire ecosystem.

Join us in Byron Bay as we work together to map an ambitious plan for regional and remote music.

Full program to be announced in May.
