Local government plays a vital role in community music infrastructure and placemaking. Hosted by AMIN, this workshop will consider how local government can support regional live music ecologies, including activation of venues outside their regular usage. The session will include a facilitated conversation with LGA representatives, sharing case studies on live music activation in their regions, and roundtable discussions with plenty of room for conversation and feedback.
