Donna Cameron is Cultural Development Officer with the City of Albany, where she leads contemporary music programming and cultural activation at Albany Town Hall. Since 2022, she has developed Live @ the Town Hall into a regular platform for original live music, creating opportunities for regional artists to perform alongside nationally touring acts while building new audiences for contemporary music in regional WA. Her work focuses on the practical role local government can play in strengthening regional music ecosystems: activating civic venues, building industry and touring relationships, supporting artist development, and creating sustainable pathways for live music outside metropolitan centres.
