Dashville Does The Bowlo

Stay on after the Summit officially ends to keep hanging with the Dashville crew and for tunes from Magpie Diaries, Mylee Grace, Johnston City, Joey Leigh Wagtail, Piper Butcher, Max Marvell, Dave Wells, Kingsley James and more.

This is a ticketed event open to the public. Summit delegates receive free entry.

Burger Joint

With songs about dogs at the beach, Chicken Parmys, getting paid, just being yourself and the importance of not just getting a beer for yourself when it’s your shout, Burger Joint really are the people’s band. Whether it’s the hard hitting song lyrics, or the fattest funkiest tunes you’ve ever heard that get you onto the Burger Joint dance floor, one thing is certain, this is where you will meet your new best mates.

Piper Butcher

Commanding audiences with soulful tones and an engrossing stage presence,  songstress Piper Butcher will surely enchant you. Hailing from the Hunter – emerging artist Piper Butcher has played festivals including Dashville Skyline, Thredbo Blues Festival, Tamworth Country Music Festival, Moruya Blues & Roots Festival and West Best Bloc Fest. From a full band sound to an exhilarating, heartfelt solo story, Piper showcases her soul in song; and there isn’t a single performance that is an exception. In fact- it’s a perfect illustration of where she has come from, and where she’s heading…

Mylee Grace

Mylee Grace kicks your shins with music that’s sunshine sweet and beatdown gutter-street all at the same time. Hers is a sound that triumphs over the ordinary. Joy and melancholy are merely her playthings as she moves between meaning and mayhem, poetry and pandemonium, life learnings and shed skins with all the effortless whimsy of a woman at the peak of her art form. Grace’s troupe are her musical friends and family with whom she has defined the sound of alternative country anti-folk rock and roll. To enter their world is to “feel” the music at full force.

Joey Leigh Wagtail

Singer-songwriter, Joey Leigh Wagtail, an 893rd generation Dunghutti man, has created an effortless sound that tears at your heartstrings then stitches them back together again — folk’n heavy blues on country music.” Joey and various iterations of the band are in the midst of planning a 2025 Australian tour in conjunction with the release of the debut album “Delusions of Grandeur”, so sign up to the newsletter and follow Joey’s socials to stay in the loop.

Kingsley James

Maitland singer-songwriter Kingsley James’s dulcet sound marries tones of earthiness with elements of soul, folk and blues – powered by honest and vulnerable lyrics derived from the experiences of his everyday. Inspired by the early sounds of Marvin Gay and Elvis, Kingsley’s true genre is soul itself, reaching for something more than just the sounds but a feeling of what it brings. His other main influences are Jim James, Marlon Williams and of course James Taylor.

Dave Wells

Those that have witnessed a Dave Wells performance are privy to the beguiling power of this most rare of musicians, whose command of both voice and guitar captivates to the point of transcendency. While his full-band shows are a must-see, there’s an otherworldly majesty and emotive force at work when Wells is alone on stage with his six-stringed instrument. Some artists follow trends, others carve their own path. With a reinvigorated spirit and expanding catalogue, Wells is firmly on his own track and poised for a defining year.
