19 More Speakers Added to Program and its Live Music Program Announced
The Regional and Remote Music Summit, through MusicSA, today added a further 19 speakers to the summit.
The Regional & Remote Music Summit will now deliver more than 40 industry voices, alongside a live music showcase program, to Berrin / Mount Gambier from 28th – 30th October.
The 19 speakers announced today deepens the program’s focus on artists, First Nations perspectives, local government and the people who actually make regional music happen.
They join the 25 speakers announced last month and will lead the Summit’s biggest conversations about regional music infrastructure, how to design the future regional and remote music system, the potency of creative and cultural leadership outside the capitals, and how to shape the future of the regional music workforce through skills, pathways, sustainability and more.

The Summit also today announced its live music program, putting emerging artists front and centre before national industry leaders and the wider Mount Gambier community, with most events free and open to the public.
Rock Lock Records owner Jack Lane opens proceedings on Wednesday with an all-Limestone Coast bill at Woolstore Brewery with Alison Newman, Gernz, Sexy As Shit and Stokes. Thursday brings a delegate-only Moshtix Margaritas at the Globe Hotel, curated by General Admission Entertainment with Greasy, Ned Baulderstone and Piper Wallin, before the Adelaide University Alumni Showcase at Limestone Coast Pantry featuring DEM MOB, My Cherie and The Genevieves, which is open to all.
The live music program closes Friday lunchtime with the Carclew x Wildlive Showcase, spotlighting emerging music from Cheleigh, Bousta and Live Slug Reaction on a 100% off-grid stage; a working demonstration of how solar-powered, low-impact production can deliver high-quality live music beyond traditional infrastructure.
The 2026 national Summit is managed and delivered by MusicSA, in partnership with the Australian Government through Music Australia and the Government of South Australia through the Music Development Office, and will continue its mission to champion regional creativity, strengthen touring networks and amplify the voices of artists and music workers living and creating outside metropolitan centres.
