Tara Medina is the Co-Founder and Director of Strawberry Fields, one of Australia’s last remaining iconic “bush doofs.” Now in its 16th year, the festival sold out almost instantly for its 15th anniversary in 2024—a year when many longstanding events were cancelled— and a testament how creativity, community and innovative event design can help an event endure pandemics, floods, and economic downturns.

A former Bain & Company consultant and law graduate, Tara also serves on the NSW Music Festival Roundtable and was previously a board member of Green Music Australia.

She is also Co-Founder of Discovered Wildfoods and Eureka Pet Co, pioneering ventures in ethical wild harvested Australian proteins.
