Nicole Wright is Co-Director of Neighbourhood Productions, a Townsville-based production company specialising in live music, touring and major events across North Queensland. In 2026, the company celebrated 10 years of delivering high-quality audio, lighting, staging and event outcomes across the region. Nicole is also a live music programmer, industry advocate and practising artist through her music project, Colie, bringing both industry and artist perspectives to her work. Her experience spans programming, production management and strategic development, including Tropic Fiesta, QMF’s Northern Sound and Sounds on Flinders through the Live & Local program, where she also worked with Townsville City Council as Venue Liaison Officer. Nicole previously co-founded Neighbourhood Sessions and Small Stage Youth Open Mic Night and directed Neck of the Woods Music Festival. Deeply embedded in Townsville’s music community, she is committed to strengthening regional music ecosystems, creating sustainable artist pathways and positioning Townsville within the national live music landscape.
