LJ Devlin is a force of nature. Hailing originally from Ireland, but now most definitely an essential part of the heart of Australia. Founder of Triptic, a Northern Territory production company specialising in events, installations and site services that people actually remember. From first site walk to final pack-down, their crew handles the moving parts so artists, organisers and audiences can focus on the moment. Based in Alice Springs and working across the NT, LJ has built a teams of up to 40 event professionals to deliver safe, well-run shows with serious atmosphere, including Parrtjima, BushBands and the National Indigenous Music Awards, to name a few. It was all an accident really – it was meant to be a side hustle to fill the gaps, when there was space between, as a touring musician. Now the reverse is true.
