Jay is an Eastern Arrernte musician and producer from Port Pirie with connections to the Arabana people. With a background in audio engineering, Jay creates music that blends Electronic/Dance and Pop music with hip-hop sensibilities, focusing strongly on a DIY approach across his craft. Outside of music, Jay works as the Program Coordinator at the newly established Kaurna Cultural Centre Yitpi Yartapuultiku, delivering cultural experiences with Kaurna Elders and community leaders. Prior to this, Jay managed theatrical and musical tours for Country Arts South Australia and spent the formative years of his arts career programming for the Art Gallery of South Australia in the Tarnanthi Team and the broader Public Programs team.
