Co-Founder, Guts Touring & Bush Music Fund

Jack Parsons co-founded Guts Touring (previously Up The Guts and Small Town Big Sound) with Jimmy Clarke in 2016. In the early days, Jack and Jim wanted to create new touring routes for artists within Australia to create more opportunities to hone their craft, cut their teeth and earn before looking abroad. They also wanted to find some adventure inspired by the ‘plug in and play’ ethos of the iconic Australian pub rock scene. Over the years, the tour has become more and more remote with inspiration coming from the iconic Blackfella/Whitefella tour undertaken by Warumpi band and the Oils through remote communities in the 80s.

Jack is a Co-Founder of Bush Music Fund, a charity designed to support First Nations musicians from remote parts of the country to overcome the barriers they face to the music industry.

He performs with rock and roll band The Pretty Littles and has worked as a lawyer and journalist.
