Guy Grey (he/they) is an artist-organiser working at the intersection of queer culture, community infrastructure, and regional regeneration. As an office-bearing committee member and Event Coordinator at Tropical Fruits Inc, one of Australia’s longest-running LGBTQ+ cultural collectives, Guy plays an active role in delivering the iconic New Year’s festival in Lismore.

As a DJ with roots in Sydney’s club scene and a history of producing events like Geckos and co-producing the Make-Do Festival (2022), Guy brings a grassroots spirit and thoughtful curation that is grounded in care, access, and collective expression. His practice champions inclusivity, intention, and the transformative power of dancefloors ~ especially in regional contexts where culture and kinship go hand in hand. He understands that as a volunteer-led cultural ecosystem, Tropical Fruits is all about exchange and alliance that is inherently place-based, and deeply rooted in shared authorship.
