Curated by Carclew with a focus on emerging artists, this lunchtime showcase brings together Cheleigh, Bousta and Live Slug Reaction for a celebration of emerging artists and live performance. With off-grid stage production by Wildlive, the session will demonstrate how solar-powered, low-impact audio, lighting and staging can support high-quality live music beyond traditional infrastructure. Expect three distinctive sets, fresh sounds and a glimpse of how the next generation can help shape a more sustainable live music future.

LIVE MUSIC

Cheleigh
Cheleigh is a 22-year-old indie pop daydreamer living on Kaurna Country creating music that sits the listener in the palm of her hand and then holds them close to her heart; and she might just be your next favourite oversharer.

Bousta
Introducing BOUSTA, a proud Arrernte man from Mparntwe/Alice Springs, currently living and studying in Adelaide. BOUSTA is a Hip Hop artist who writes thought-provoking lyrics in English and Arrernte, using his traditional language as a powerful tool to inspire Indigenous kids to chase their dreams.
Drawing from his experiences growing up in Central Australia and his life in Adelaide, BOUSTA brings his own perspective and identity to Hip Hop, blending storytelling, culture and contemporary sounds.

Live Slug Reaction
Live Slug Reaction is an Adelaide-based groove band that takes influence from anything they can get their greedy slime trails on, ripping sounds and grooves from Electronic, Jazz-Funk and Rock, to create moody soundscapes and danceable tracks that leave no head unbobbed and no mossy textural stone unturned. The five slugs have played with acclaimed Australian acts across genres, including Alexander Flood, Majak Door, The Empty Threats and Any Young Mechanic and their music is recommended for anyone who likes having fun.
